Where we work

Office in Palitana, remote across India

Our headquarters sits on the first floor of the 24 Square building in Palitana, Gujarat — a few minutes from the railway station and a short walk from the city market. Engineers, designers, content and operations teammates work remotely from Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Ahmedabad, Surat, Rajkot and smaller towns.

On Mondays the entire team joins a 30-minute video standup. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are deep-work blocks with no meetings. Thursdays we run a 60-minute "what broke last week" review. Fridays are demo day + 90 minutes of learning sprint. Every quarter the team meets in person for three days at the Palitana office — travel and stay are funded by the company.

How we communicate

Async by default, sync when it matters

Most decisions are written, not spoken. Issues, RFCs, and customer notes live in our shared workspace so a teammate joining a year from now can read the full history. We use WhatsApp for time-sensitive asks and email for anything that needs a paper trail.

We ban all-hands meetings longer than 45 minutes; we cap recurring meetings at 25 minutes; we never book a meeting without an agenda. The result: most engineers ship 25+ focused hours every week.

Tools we use

A small, well-paid-for SaaS stack

Engineering: Astro 7, Svelte 5, TypeScript, Vitest, Playwright, Cloudflare Pages, Postgres, Clickhouse for analytics, Stripe for billing.

Compliance: ClearTax + IRIS + KarTax + an internal AI wrapper for GST notice reply drafting. The AI wrapper is built on top of OpenAI + a compliance-curated retrieval layer — every output is reviewed by a qualified human before the client sees it.

Everyone: Linear for issues, Notion for documents, Loom for async video, Figma for design, Slack for chat. No more than eight tools across the entire company.
